PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -
Police in Portland are on the lookout for a gunman involved in a shooting along a busy road in Southeast Portland.
Officers responded to the corner of SE 85th and Powell just after two o'clock Tuesday morning. A caller reported finding a man suffering from what looked to be injuries from a hit and run crash.
However, when first responders arrived they discovered that the man had actually been shot.
Medical crews transported the man to a Portland hospital for treatment.
His injuries are traumatic, but doctors say they do not appear to be life-threatening.
Police haven't released any information about a possible suspect and are asking anyone who may have seen something to call detectives at (503) 823-0400.
