BEAVERTON, OR (KPTV) -
Flames from two burning cars in Beaverton spread to an apartment complex, damaging the outside of the building Tuesday.
Tualatin Valley firefighters rushed to the apartments at Southwest Hall Boulevard and Center Street around 11:40 a.m.
They arrived within five minutes of the first call, and were able to extinguish the two car fires.
Crews contained the apartment complex damage to the outside part of the building. The owner of the cars said both of them had been sitting for several weeks and they were both in good working order at the time of the fire.
The two cars appear to be a total loss, and investigators are now looking for the cause of the fire.
