Posted: Updated:

Oregon State Police seized six pounds of pot after a traffic stop on I-84.

On Wednesday, Feb. 6, Thane Johnson, 24, was pulled over while traveling through the The Dalles.  After initially talking with Johnson about improperly changing lanes, the OSP officer decided to search his vehicle. In the Honda Civic's trunk he found 16 sealed bags of marijuana. All together it totaled about six pounds, or $15,000 worth if sold on the street.

Johnson, from Minot, ND, was arrested and booked on marijuana possession and delivery charges, but released after a short stay in jail.
