Police seek information after stabbing victim walks into SE Portland hospital

PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

Portland police hope to learn more about a stabbing after a man checked himself into a SE Portland hospital, but refused to provide information about the circumstances of his injury.

Investigators said officers responded to Portland Adventist Medical Center at about 2 a.m. on the report of a walk-in stabbing victim.

When officers arrived, they spoke with 23-year-old Michael O'Malley, who was suffering from a minor stab wound. Police said he was not cooperative with officers regarding the circumstances of the stabbing.

Anyone with information about the stabbing is asked to call Detective Arjay Dran at (503) 823-0483.
