DONALD, OR (KPTV) -
A 27-year-old woman walking to a friend's house in Donald was robbed early Wednesday morning.
Misty Walter saw a man riding by on a bicycle as she was near Huckleberry Lane around 6:20 a.m.
After the man passed Walter, he suddenly turned around and began attacking her, Marion County deputies said.
The man used a nearby piece of cement to hit Walter on the head before he stole her purse and cell phone.
Walter escaped and ran to a home to call 911.
The robber was described as a male, 5'8" tall and 170 pounds. He wore a black, pulldown mask with cutouts for the mouth and eyes. He also wore a camo-style hunting jacket with a hood and steel-toed, dark-colored boots.
The victim told deputies the attacker had a raspy smokers voice and was riding a silver, BMX-style bike.
Walter was treated at a Tualatin hospital for a scrape on her head and cuts to her hands.
Anyone with information on who is responsible for the robbery is asked to call 503-540-8079.
