LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -
According to the arrest report for a triple shooting suspect, a conflict over a pizza restaurant firing may have sparked the violence.
Metro police on Wednesday released the report for Devante Jeffers, 18, who is charged with attempted murder with a deadly weapon and battery with a deadly weapon.
Jeffers was charged in connection with a shooting on Feb. 5 that left two victims critically injured and a third with bullet wounds.
Police said the incident started when the victims - Troy Price, Jeremy Miller and Destiny Garcia - were ejected from the Hard Rock Café on Las Vegas Boulevard sometime before midnight.
Price and Jeffers had attended Sierra Vista High School together in 2012 and Price blamed Jeffers for getting him fired from a Grimaldi's Pizzeria restaurant.
After the victims left the Hard Rock, they got into some sort of altercation with suspect Jeffers and a second suspect, only identified as "Lee" in the arrest report but subsequently identified as Ariya Manoi.
The victims then drove to the Showcase Mall parking garage, Miller and Price telling Garcia they were going to "beat up Jeffers" and asking if there was anything hard in the car they could use for a weapon.
When the victims exited an elevator on the sixth floor of the parking garage, Jeffers and Manoi appeared, Manoi producing a black gun and firing at least nine rounds at Miller and Price.
Miller was struck several times in the left torso, left and right biceps and left thigh. Price was struck once in the neck. Garcia was hit in the front of her left calf.
Miller's spine was shattered and he remains in a medically induced coma.
Police located Jeffers following the shooting. He told them he only knew the second suspect as "Lee" and that the two had just met that night at a 7-Eleven convenience store located at Tropicana Avenue and Jones Boulevard.
Manoi remains on the loose. He is described as 5'11", 195 pounds with black hair and black eyes. Police said he should be considered armed and dangerous.
Police urge anyone with information on the incident to contact Metro's Violent Crimes Section at 702-828-5634 or Crime Stoppers at 702-385-5555.
