PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -
One man was taken to a Portland hospital after being stabbed during a fight early Thursday morning.
Police responded to a reported stabbing at Northeast Cully Boulevard and Killingsworth Street just before 3 in the morning.
As officers responded they learned the suspect and victim were still fighting even after the stabbing.
Officers were able to arrest the suspect and find the knife used in the stabbing when they arrived.
Based on preliminary information the victim is expected to survive.
The name of the victim and suspect have not been released.
