A mother and her daughter were arrested along the Oregon coast on meth charges with four children in the home.
Detectives served a search warrant at a home on Northwest Eighth Street in Newport on Tuesday. They seized a small amount of methamphetamine, packaging materials and other evidence.
Dianna Sutherland, 47, and Kattie Sutherland, 23, were both arrested. Four children, ages 10 months, 3, 5 and 8 years old were taken into protective custody.
Kattie Sutherland is the mother of three of the children and related to the fourth, according to investigators.
Kattie Sutherland is charged with unlawful possession and delivery of methamphetamine, maintaining a place where a controlled substance is kept and child neglect.
Dianna Sutherland is charged with possession of meth.
