A Disney star is giving local kids a chance to hone their talents at a local academy.
Aaron Landon, star of Disney's Crash & Bernstein, is in town for the Dream Big School Tour. The 14-year-old singer and actor is performing at local schools.
He will wrap up his week in and around the Rose City by hosting the Aaron Landon Scholarship Auditions for Hollywood Launch Academy of Portland Feb. 23.
The local academy helps train aspiring singers, actors and dancers. Landon has been a student at the Los Angeles campus for the past three years.
The auditions are open to performers between the ages of 8-18. Anyone interested should be at Portland's Headwaters Theatre, 55 N.E. Farragut St. #9, at 10 a.m. Feb. 23 with a head shot, resume and one-minute a cappella song prepared to sing.
Auditioners will also be given a scene from Landon's show to use during the audition.
