PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

A local bouncer was gunned down a year ago today, but detectives still have not been able to capture Robert Greene's killer.

That's why the Portland Police Bureau, in connection with Crime Stoppers, is asking for the public's help to solve this murder.

Officers responded to a report of a shooting outside the Grand Central Restaurant and Bowling Lounge around 1:30 a.m. on Feb. 19, 2012.

There, they found Greene dead at the scene.

An autopsy later showed that he died from a single gunshot wound.

The only suspect information known at this point is that the person who shot Greene is a black male, police said.

Investigators know that there were several witnesses outside at the time of the shooting, but they have not provided information to detectives, officers said.

The victim's family has raised $2,100 in a reward fund for information leading to the arrest of his killer.

In addition, Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward of up to $1,000.
