Portland coffee company to be featured backstage at Oscars

LOS ANGELES (KPTV) -

A local coffee company will provide a jolt to Oscar hopefuls this weekend.

Coffee from Portland Roasting will be served as the official backstage coffee at the 85th Academy Awards in Los Angeles this Sunday, Feb. 24. Organic Tanager's Song Blend and Decaf Vienna Blend will be brewed in the green room of the Dolby Theatre during the ceremony.

The owners of Portland Roasting said Oscar organizers heard about the company from a few people on the Dolby Theatre staff, who suggested bringing it in.
