Semi crash spills railroad ties onto road in Gladstone

GLADSTONE, OR (KPTV) -

Firefighters rushed to remove a driver from a crashed semi on 82nd Drive in Gladstone on Thursday morning.

State police said two semi trucks were involved in the crash at Interstate 205, and one of them rolled over. The wreck caused a load of railroad ties to spill onto the road and block traffic.

Fire officials said the driver was pulled out of the semi and did not suffer any serious injuries.

Troopers said drivers should avoid the area for the next several hours.
