Don Porter
PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -
Portland police said a man turned himself in following a hit-and-run crash that left a woman with serious injuries.
The crash happened just after 3 a.m. Saturday at Southeast 68th and Division Street.
Officers said they arrested Don Porter Sunday afternoon when he turned himself in at the Central Precinct.
Police later found Porter's SUV at a local body shop.
Porter was expected in court on Monday to face charges of felony hit-and-run, hindering the prosecution and tampering with physical evidence.
Porter hit the woman while she was crossing the street, officers said.
Emergency crews took her to a hospital with serious injuries, but she is expected to recover.
