A woman driving home from church accidentally slammed into a family's front porch in Beaverton Sunday afternoon.
The 77-year-old driver was taken to the hospital with a possible broken arm, according to police. Two people inside the house were not injured.
"It's going to be a long, drawn-out repair job," said homeowner Randal Banks.
The woman first hit a parked car on 151st Street near Southwest Weir Road and was trying to correct her mistake when she hit the accelerator instead of the brake, according to police.
The woman driving was not cited at the scene but will need to pass a driving test before regaining her license.
