'Most Wanted' man arrested in Washington

COWLITZ COUNTY, WA (KPTV) -

A man featured on the television show Washington's Most Wanted was arrested late Monday night.

The Cowlitz County Sheriff's Office tells us they received a report of a man yelling for help in the woods near Hazel Dell Road, about four miles north of Kelso.

Deputies searched the woods and say they found a man claiming to Jonathan Benson.

The Lewis County Sheriff's Office sent word to be on the lookout for Charles Ray Reece who was wanted for felony identity theft and forgery.

After searching the man claiming to be Benson, Cowlitz County sheriff's deputies say they were able to identify him as Reece.

Reece was treated and released at St. John Hospital and has been booked on his outstanding warrants.

Kelso police are now handling the investigation.
