Three people are safe this morning after being rescued by the Coast Guard.
It happened Tuesday night near Grays Harbor after the Coast Guard got a call reporting a 58-foot crabbing vessel was taking on water and low on fuel for their dewatering pump.
The Coast Guard station dispatched two motor lifeboats boats to the scene where they delivered two dewatering pumps.
The Persistence and the crew were escorted about five miles back to Grays Harbor.
No one was injured. The rescue happened about 8:50 p.m. Tuesday.
