Police identify man killed in motorcycle crash

PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

Police have identified the motorcyclist killed after crashing into a pole in north Portland on Sunday night.

Investigators said Jeffrey Paul, 47, crashed on North Greeley Avenue at 7:15 p.m. near North Going Street.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.

Police had North Greeley closed in both directions between North Going Street and Interstate Avenue.

Police said this crash marks the ninth traffic-related fatality in 2013.
