VANCOUVER, WA (KPTV) -
Salmon Creek drivers have six weeks of traffic to look forward to.
Lane closures are set to begin on I-205 as crews build a new section of the Northeast 139th Street interchange. Drivers can expect to see lanes being shut down on Tuesdays and Thursdays through mid-April.
The daytime closures will be needed to make way for heavy trucks as more than 300 loads of concrete are poured to build out the new interchange.
On northbound I-205, the left lane will be closed Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m.
On southbound I-205, the left lane will be closed Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
