TUALATIN, OR (KPTV) -
The streets around a Tualatin park were blocked off Monday as officers attempted to arrest a wanted man believed to have guns and body armor.
Fredric Dean, 34, was taken into custody without incident as he attempted to leave a home near Ibach Park.
Tualatin police said The U.S. Marshals Service notified them that Dean is known to have a history of criminal activity related to weapons. Police also requested assistance from the Washington County Tactical Negotiations Team.
Dean was wanted on an outstanding federal arrest warrant.
Ibach Park and the streets surrounding the area were closed for about an hour during the incident.
