WALDPORT, OR (KPTV) -
Investigators are looking into what caused a crane to collapse in Alsea Bay near Waldport on Tuesday afternoon.
The whole collapse was caught on camera. On the video, you can see the lattice of the crane buckling near the operator's cabin, causing it to tip over. Witnesses say the crane became tangled while putting up new power lines.
The equipment in owned by Axis Crane in Sherwood. Luckily, no one was injured in the collapse.
