PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -
A man accused of murdering his wife in their northeast Portland home is out of the hospital and behind bars. Police arrested Lloyd Erp on Thursday after he was released from the hospital, where he'd been recovering from a gunshot wound.
Erp called police on Sunday to say he was injured and had a gun inside the home, investigators said. Officers arrived, and talked Erp into coming out of the house. Paramedics took him to the hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening.
Investigators found his wife, Lori Erp, dead inside the home. The investigation is still ongoing, and officers aren't releasing any other details.
Erp will be arraigned at the Multnomah County Courthouse on Friday.
