PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -
Portland police are investigating a stabbing at a northeast Portland bar.
It happened at the Venture Inn on Northeast 139th Avenue and Sandy Boulevard around 1 a.m. Friday.
That's when a man was attacked and stabbed multiple times in the bar's parking lot.
The victim was injured and is at a local hospital listed in critical condition.
The suspect is still on the loose.
Investigators said the possible suspect is a dark-skinned black man with long, braided hair.
The manager of a Plaid Pantry store on the other side of the parking lot said police asked to go through security footage.
"I work graveyard a lot, and I really haven't had too many problems here," he said.
