PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

A Portland man will spend six years in prison after pleading guilty to receiving child pornography.

Keith Jordan, 53, was sentenced in federal court Friday morning. He faces a five-year term of supervised release once he's out of prison.

He will not be allowed to associate with minors and will be restricted on his use of the internet.

Investigators said Jordan was making images of child pornography available for download through a peer-to-peer file sharing program.

A search warrant was served at his home in Milwaukie. Investigators said they discovered 1,300 images and 200 videos graphically depicting sexual abuse of very young children on his computers and compact discs.

Reading from a brief, prepared statement, Jordan apologized to the court and to the victims. He said he had "no idea" of the pain and suffering the victims continue to endure because the images of their abuse continue to circulate on the internet, but claimed that he understands now.
