Man burned by acid on Albany bus seat

ALBANY, OR (KPTV) -

Albany police are investigating what appears to be an acid spill on a city bus seat.

Officers say a man sat on the spill and the acid burned through his pants.

The man was not seriously hurt.

When the bus driver tried to clean it up, police say she started having trouble breathing.

Investigators say the acid could have leaked from an old battery.
