PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -
A bicyclist is recovering after being clipped by a police patrol car early Friday morning.
The police were driving though the area of Northeast 33rd and Killingsworth when it happened.
Police say they were rushing to a call when the mirror of the car hit someone riding their bike. The rider did not appear to be badly injured, but was transported to the hospital to be evaluated.
Traffic investigators responded to the scene to look into the crash, which is standard procedure when an officer is involved in a crash.
