BEAVERTON, OR (KPTV) -
A company responsible for making and installing the red light cameras in nine Oregon cities is under fire.
Redflex is under federal investigation after the company was accused of trying to bribe its way into getting a contract with the city of Chicago.
The scandal led to the dismissal of several executives, including the CEO.
Redflex has contracts with Albany, Beaverton, Fairview, Medford, Newberg, Salem, Sherwood, Tualatin and Woodburn.
If you are hoping this might help you get out of a red light ticket, that is not the case - all tickets are still valid.
