Dave Winston brings 35 years of search and leadership experience
TORONTO, March 19, 2013 /PRNewswire/ - Retained executive search firm The Caldwell Partners International Inc. (TSX: CWL) today announced Dave Winston has joined the firm as Managing Partner, Industrial Practice.

Mr. Winston joined Caldwell Partners from Heidrick & Struggles, where he was the managing partner of the Industrial Practice in the Americas and partner-in-charge of the Dallas office. He was previously co-founder of a Boston-based boutique recruiting firm focused on venture-backed startups and served in advisory positions to several technology companies.
Prior to his career in executive search, Mr. Winston was an owner and chief operating officer for a startup company that provided an outsourced supply chain for perfusionists and hospitals performing cardiac surgery procedures.
Before embarking on his corporate career, Mr. Winston spent 20 years serving his country as an officer in the US Marine Corps. He held numerous flying assignments, served as the chief of global programs for the Special Operations Command, and served on the staff of Marine Weapons and Tactics Squadron One.
Mr. Winston holds a bachelor's degree in accounting from Villanova University. He serves on the board of Heroes on the Water, a not-for-profit organization that helps wounded warriors relax, rehabilitate and reintegrate through kayak fishing and the outdoors. He is a member of the Helicopter Association International, holds an FAA commercial rotary-wing instrument pilot certificate, a US Soccer Federation Referee certification, and has completed eight triathlons.
Based in the firm's Dallas office, Mr. Winston joins a team that includes Jim Bethmann, an industry-leading technology recruiter and Mike Kelly, a prominent life sciences and healthcare recruiter.
