Tip leads to purse snatcher arrest

WOODLAND, WA (KPTV) -

Police have arrested a man accused of stealing a woman's purse at a Woodland Walmart, all thanks to tips from Fox 12 viewers.

Investigators say Christopher Hadley can be seen snatching the purse on security cameras.

After the story aired, police say several Fox 12 viewers called to tell them the man they were looking for was Hadley.

After contacting Hadley, Police say he called the victim and offered to pay her back if she didn't press charges.

Authorities tracked him down and arrested him.
