GRESHAM, OR (KPTV) -
A convicted sex offender is in jail this morning after months of being on the run.
Kenneth Muskevitsch was arrested by the US Marshals and the Multnomah County Warrant Strike Team at a Gresham apartment Wednesday.
He had been on the run since October.
Muskevitsch has been arrested at least four times in three different counties for failing to register as a sex offender.
Deputies said he was staying with a woman and her child, so it was important that he was arrested as soon as possible.
In the last decade Muskevitsch has had at least six convictions including rape, failing to register as a sex offender and an escape conviction.
