Former Molalla City Council member sentenced

MOLALLA, OR (KPTV) -

A former Molalla City Council member is going to spend the next few years in prison.

Michelle Mills has been sentenced to three years and 10 months in prison after pleading guilty to aggravated theft charges back in January.

Mills was arrested in November 2010 and charged with embezzling at least $350,000 from the store where she worked as the general manager.

Detectives say she embezzled the money between 2006 and 2009.
