MULTNOMAH COUNTY, OR -

A 26-year-old woman who disappeared after becoming separated from her mother and father in the Wood Village Walmart store has been found safe in north Portland.

Jessica Phillips had last been seen just after 2 p.m. Monday, leaving the Wood Village Walmart on Northeast Sandy Boulevard. Deputies considered her endangered because she needed medication.

On Tuesday afternoon, Portland police officers were following up on a tip and found Phillips near the corner of North Lombard Street and Emerald Avenue.

Sheriff's deputies said someone who saw Phillips' picture on the news called police to say they had seen her in north Portland. Officers found Phillips in good condition and she was being reunited with her family.

K-9 tracking teams had spent hours checking on reported sightings and searching in the area surrounding the Walmart on Monday, but they found no clues.

Search and rescue crews also handed out missing person flyers with a description and photo of Phillips on them. Authorities also used the "A Child Is Missing" reverse call directory to contact people in the area and inform them of Phillips' disappearance.

Deputies said Phillips isn't from the area and had come down for the day with her mother and other family from Auburn, WA. Deputies said the family wanted to express their gratitude for everyone's help in finding their daughter.
