PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

Slowly but surely, a 12 year old Damascus girl who fell down a cliff in central Oregon is improving.

Allison Billard has been upgraded to serious condition.  Her mother says she was able to go for a walk in the hospital and enjoyed eating Easter candy.

Her teammates on her softball team, the Flip Flops, stopped by OHSU to deliver several gifts from a recent fundraiser including stuffed animals, balloons, and a kindle.

Allison was vacationing with her family in the Crooked River Canyon near Bend last  Thursday when the accident happened. Her family says she was picking up litter when she slipped and fell about 40 feet down a canyon.

The Gresham Barlow Amateur Softball Association plans to hold another fundraiser for her next Saturday as well.
