RIDGEFIELD, WA (KPTV) -

Ridgefield High School students were given a class project to capture iconic images around town and campus.

The results were fantastic.

Mayor Ron Onslow contacted the school about getting photos of Ridgefield. Jared Hundley, a photography, yearbook and graphic design teacher, passed the challenge on to his students.

He said the student photographers range from freshmen to seniors.

"I live in town and learned a bunch about Ridgefield from my students' storytelling," Hundley said.

Students had one week to complete the project. Now, their photos will be used in the redesign of the city's website.
