Police serving a warrant said they came across so much stolen property, they had to call in a public works department truck to haul it all away.
It started Tuesday, when West Linn police arrested Joshua Lazenby, 38, of Gladstone. He had an outstanding warrant out of Clackamas County for possession of controlled substances and being a felon in possession of a firearm.
On Wednesday, West Linn police, working with Clackamas County deputies and Oregon City officers, served a warrant at a home on the 500 block of C Street in Oregon City.
That's where they discovered truckloads of property believed to be stolen. Investigators are working to determine if it's all connected to multiple car break-ins and home burglaries in West Linn, Oregon City and other areas of Clackamas County.
"We were all very shocked because this is really amazing," said Karen Allison, a neighbor. "I'm appalled."
Police said Lazenby has only been charged in connection with his warrant at this time and no other arrests have been reported yet in this case. Neighbors said he had been staying off an on with the woman who lived in the duplex.
