MULINO, OR (KPTV) -

Clackamas County deputies removed an alligator from a shed near South Marshall Road in Mulino after getting an anonymous tip.

Police say the alligator, named Wally, is in good condition and appeared to be well cared for. He's about 4' long and 12 to 14 years old.

The alligator is being cared for by NW Herpetological services.

Police say owning alligators is banned in Oregon unless you have a special permit. However, no charges have been filed so far.
