KLAMATH FALLS, OR (KPTV) -

A traffic stop in Klamath Falls led to the discovery of 71 pounds of marijuana and the arrest of two people from Minnesota.

Troopers said a 2001 Chevrolet Silverado with Minnesota plates was stopped for several traffic violations on April 6 just off Highway 97.

The investigation led the trooper to discover 71 pounds of marijuana concealed inside the truck. The marijuana was found in several large duffel bags.

Investigators said it has an estimated value of $175,000.

The driver, Dustin Calgaro, 27, and passenger, Heather Kerg, 22, both of Biwabik, MN, were booked into the Klamath County Jail.

The OSP Drug Enforcement Section released information related to the arrests Thursday.

The Klamath County Sheriff's Office reported both suspects are out of custody pending future appearances in court.

Calgaro and Kerg are charged with unlawful possession and delivery of a controlled substance and conspiracy to commit unlawful delivery of marijuana.
