A Trimet bus driver is recovering after someone stabbed him in the leg Saturday evening.
It happened around 11 p.m. near Southeast 92nd and Flavel.
Portland police say the driver, Brian Nixon, 35, was in a portable restroom when a man started banging on the door.
The victim opened the door after hearing the banging.
That's when police said the attacker stabbed Nixon after demanding to use the restroom.
Police said the attacker then ran away into the neighborhood.
Officers were still trying to track him down as of Sunday morning.
Police described the attacker as an African American man in his 30s who is about 5'9" tall.
They also said the man had a beard and is possibly homeless.
Nixon is expected to recover.
