VANCOUVER, WA (KPTV) -

Detectives are seeking witnesses who were at Water Works Park in West Vancouver on Saturday evening, where at least two fights broke out over a possible robbery attempt.

Just after 6 p.m., police responded to reports of an assault with weapons at the park at Fourth Plain Boulevard and Fort Vancouver Way, which is more commonly known as "Skate" park.

When they arrived officers found at least two people who received minor injuries during at least two fights. In at least one of the fights, someone used a knife.

Police say a young adult male and a juvenile male were arrested and are now facing various charges related to the incident. Their identities have not been released.

Meanwhile, detectives actively investigating the case are looking for anyone else who saw what happened.

Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the Vancouver Police Department.
