An 8-year-old Longview boy died Sunday a week after being involved in a crash on Highway 30 west of Clatskanie.
Noah Waite-Brown was a passenger in a car involved in a two-car, head-on crash on April 14.
The crash sent seven people to the hospital including four children.
Lieutenant Duane Stanton said a 1998 Volkswagen Jetta driven by Lucas Brown was heading eastbound on Highway 30 when it went across the center line on a curve and hit a 2003 Mini Cooper driven by Kimberly Sultan.
Lucas Brown was taken by life flight to Legacy Emanuel Medical Center where he died.
Noah Waite-Brown was being treated at Randall Children's Hospital.
The other passenger in Brown's car, 7-year-old Kane Brown was taken by ambulance to Columbia Memorial Hospital in Astoria with non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the Mini-Cooper was last known to be in critical condition at Legacy Emanuel Medical Center.
The passengers in the Mini-Cooper were taken to Columbia Memorial Hospital with minor injuries.
The investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing.
