Crash investigators in Marion County released the names Tuesday of the people involved in a crash that left one dead and four injured.
The crash happened at around 8:45 Monday night at the intersection of Cast Road NE and Yergen Road NE, just west of Donald.
At this point in the investigation, the evidence indicates a 1989 Buick LeSabre, driven by 43-year-old Georgina Harrison, was traveling westbound on Yergen Road NE and was turning left onto Case Road NE when it was struck by a 1994 Ford F150 truck heading eastbound on Yergen Road.
A passenger in the Buick, 49-year-old Todd Arendt, died at the scene of the crash. Harrison was transported by LifeFlight to Legacy Emanuel Medical Center in Portland. Her condition is unknown at this time.
The driver of the Ford Truck, 49-year-old Daniel McAfee, of Portland, suffered injuries in the crash, but his current condition is unknown.
Two passengers, 43-year-old Catherine McAfee and 12-year-old Holly McAfee, were also taken to Oregon Health & Science University Hospital in Portland. Their injuries were described by deputies as "non-life-threatening."
No arrests have been made, and no citations will be issued until the investigation is finished.
