Armed robber targets Tualatin Walgreens

TUALATIN, OR (KPTV) -

Tualatin police are looking for the armed robber who targeted a Walgreens Saturday night.

It happened around 11:40 p.m. at the store on Southwest Lower Boones Ferry Road near 63rd.

Police said the robber pulled a handgun, took $450 in cash from the register and ran from the scene.

Tualatin police and King City officers, along with Lake Oswego and Tigard K-9 units, tried to track the robber down but were unsuccessful.

No one was hurt.

A Walgreens employee described the gunman as a white man with blue eyes, about 5'5" and between 30 to 40 years old.

At the time, the robber was wearing a thick, black zip-up hooded sweatshirt and a tan baseball hat, a tan belt, blue jeans and dark boots.
