SALEM, OR (KPTV) -

Investigators believe the same woman is behind three armed robberies at convenience stores around Salem Sunday morning.

The first happened at 5:40 a.m. at the Plaid Pantry located at 2505 State St.

The woman walked in, pulled out a gun and demanded money. Police said she left in a vehicle with some cash and cigarettes.

The second robbery happened about an hour later at the Salem Market at 3390 Center Street. The clerk said the woman demanded money, but he threw a full beer can at her, which scared her away. He chased her out of the store, but he did not see where she went.

The third robbery happened minutes later at the US Market at 2904 12th Street.

The robber didn't get away with any cash, but took off with some disposable cigarette lighters and candy.

The suspect is described as a white woman, between 25 and35 years old. She is 5'5-5'8 with a medium to heavy build.

Police said she got away in a dark colored Ford Windstar minivan with a roof rack and no front license plate. The van was driven by an unknown person.
