Portland police are investigating reports of a driver firing shots from his SUV in northeast Portland Monday morning.
Police were called to the scene at Northeast 128th and Fremont Street at 10:30 a.m. Officers learned that someone in a white SUV was involved in an altercation with a group of people in another car.
Investigators said the driver of the SUV fired at least one shot at the car and hit it. The white SUV then pulled away and fired at least one more shot toward a group of people walking on the street. That shot hit a house.
Nobody was hit by the gunfire.
Police said preliminary information does not indicate gang involvement.
If you know anything about this case, call Portland police.
