PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

Police have released a sketch in hopes of tracking down the man who stabbed a TriMet bus driver.

It happened at 11 p.m. April 20 at Southeast 92nd and Flavel Street.

Investigators said the victim, Brian Nixon, 35, was using the portable restroom for TriMet when he heard banging on the door. Nixon opened the door and was stabbed in the leg by a man who demanded to use the bathroom.

Nixon was treated at a Portland hospital for a stab wound.

After the stabbing, the attacker ran away into the neighborhood. Officers searched the area, but did not locate anyone matching his description.

He is described as a black man in his 30s, 5'9" tall wearing a black and red coat, brown pants and a stocking cap.

He also had a beard and was possibly a transient.

If you know who he is, call Portland police.
