PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

Portland police arrested a sex abuse suspect accused of preying on homeless women.

Officers were called out to a report of a sexual assault at Southwest Park Avenue and Columbia Street at 6 a.m. Friday. The victim had locked herself in a Portland Loo.

The 22-year-old woman was taken to a Portland hospital for treatment.

Officers developed information on a suspect, identified as Ladell Hill, 63. He was later arrested in the area.

Sex crimes detectives said Hill also assaulted a 27-year-old woman three weeks ago in the 100 block of Southwest Sixth Avenue.

He is facing charges including rape and was booked into the Multnomah County Jail. He is set to be arraigned Monday.

Detectives said Hill is homeless and so are his victims. Investigators are concerned there may be more victims who have not come forward.

If you know anything about these cases or any additional cases, call detective Heidi Helwig at 503-823-0581.
