PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

Police have identified the suspect accused of shooting and killing an 18-year-old at a northeast Portland gas station in March.

Edward Jewell Paden Jr. was killed at 2 p.m. March 27 at the Valero Gas Station, on the corner of Northeast 60th and Killingsworth.

On Friday, Portland police said Lonnell George, 23, is wanted for the murder. George has a history of gun offenses and gang activity, according to detectives. He is considered armed and dangerous.

If you see George, you should not approach him. Instead, immediately call 911.

Police reported in March that several shots were fired and witnesses described a disturbance at the gas station prior to the shooting.

In the days that followed, family and friends left flowers and messages next to the gas pumps where Paden's body was found.

Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward up to $1,000 in this case.

Call 503-823-HELP if you have any information about the suspect.
