A crash near Canby killed one teenager and sent two others to the hospital Friday night.
The Clackamas County Sheriff's Office was called out to a crash on Friday around 11 p.m. near Highway 170 and Aldercreek Lane.
Officials said the vehicle struck a power pole on the passenger side with enough force to break the pole and knock it to the ground.
The impact also caused the SUV to roll over and land on its top, injuring the three teens inside.
Deputies said Daniel Gonzalez, 19, was the front seat passenger and suffered severe injuries.
He was taken by LifeFlight to Emanuel Hospital where he later died.
The driver, a 17-year-old male and the back seat passenger, a 15-year-old male were taken to OHSU for their injuries.
Deputies said the 17-year-old driver is under investigation on suspicion of drunken driving. Though deputies have released his name, FOX 12 is not identifying him because he has not yet been charged with a crime.
The Clackamas County's Criminal Reconstruction and Forensic team was called to assist with the accident.
The investigation is ongoing.
