Voodoo Doughnut is expanding beyond Oregon's borders. The unique company is opening up shop in Denver.
The Oregonian reports that the co-owners have been meeting with city officials in Denver and recently signed a lease for a new store. Voodoo Doughnut confirmed with Fox 12 that the new location will open sometime this fall, but an exact opening date has not been set.
This will be the first Voodoo Doughnut shop outside of Oregon and the fourth store overall.
The owners told The Oregonian the city offered them tax credits if they hired more than 35 employees.
The company is celebrating its 10-year anniversary this Saturday.
