TROUTDALE, OR (KPTV) -

Troutdale police are investigating a series of car prowls involving car doors left unlocked.

At least 10 reports of thefts from vehicles were reported, beginning at 6 a.m. Wednesday. Stolen items included wallets, GPS devices, sunglasses and loose change.

After arriving to investigate, officers noticed more open car doors and contacted the owners.

Police said the victims' cars were parked along Southwest 15th, Kings Byway, Southwest Spence Avenue and Haskins Court.

Eight of the victims said their car was unlocked, while the other two said it's possible they didn't lock the doors.

Police said there was no sign of forced entry in any of the cases.

There is no suspect information at this point in the investigation.
