PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

A school was put in lockdown as police searched for a burglary suspect Tuesday morning in southeast Portland.

Officers were called out to a home on the 2100 block of Southeast 92nd Avenue at 10:15 a.m. A woman, who was not at the home, reported to police that her 18-year-old daughter heard someone in their house.

Officers spotted a possible suspect running away from the area of the home. Police surrounded the neighborhood and Harrison Park School, 2225 S.E. 87th Ave., was placed in temporary lockdown during the search for the suspect.

Police, including a K-9, did not locate the suspect. He is described as a white male with bad acne wearing a white hoody and jeans.

If you know anything about this case, call Portland police.
